Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Estate Planning Attorney with a minimum of two years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in drafting estate planning documents, managing probate proceedings, and advising clients on strategies for wealth preservation and asset transfer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected private client practice focused on delivering high-quality, individualized service.
Key Responsibilities
Draft wills, trusts (revocable and irrevocable), powers of attorney, and other estate planning instruments
Handle probate and trust administration from initiation through final distribution
Advise clients on estate and gift tax implications and planning strategies
Collaborate with financial advisors and CPAs on integrated planning matters
Conduct legal research and stay up to date on changes in estate and tax law
Maintain organized client files and provide timely updates on case status
Qualifications
JD from an accredited law school and active license to practice in Texas
Minimum of 2 years of experience in estate planning and probate
Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and client communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple matters independently and effectively
