Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Conduct financial analysis to support tax filings and reports.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements.
- Manage and coordinate tax audits and related activities.
- Identify and mitigate tax-related risks.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals.
- Stay updated with changes in tax legislation and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external auditors.
- Maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional service.
Qualifications:
- CPA certification preferred.
- Proven experience in tax compliance, planning, and financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance.
- Proficiency in tax preparation and accounting software.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
