We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join our team in one of our Ohio locations. (Akron, Columbus, Cleveland, or Cincinnati, OH) The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working on personal injury cases and be comfortable handling case management, legal research, and client communication. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys, assist in trial preparation, and support clients through every stage of their legal journey.
Assist attorneys in case preparation and management from intake to settlement or trial.
Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
Conduct legal research and gather supporting evidence for cases.
Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and opposing counsel.
Organize and maintain case files, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
Assist in trial preparation, including exhibit organization and witness coordination.
Review and summarize medical records, police reports, and other relevant documents.
At least 2 years of experience as a paralegal handling personal injury cases.
Associate's degree, paralegal certification, or equivalent legal experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of personal injury litigation or pre-litigation, legal terminology, and court procedures.
Proficiency in legal research and document drafting.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
Proficiency in legal software and case management systems.
